“Most of the emails that get filtered to spam really are just spam. One of the biggest issues with email spam is lacking proper authentication. There are technologies that you can use to authenticate your emails which will automatically make you look more trustworthy in the eyes of spam filters. DKIM (DomainKey Identified Mail)
    SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
DMARC – requires you to already be using DKIM and SPF.”

There are several reasons why emails may end up in your spam folder. One reason is that the email server’s spam filter may have mistakenly identified the email as spam based on certain criteria, such as the sender’s reputation or the content of the email. Additionally, if you have marked previous emails from the same sender as spam, future emails from that sender may also be filtered into the spam folder. Finally, certain keywords or phrases commonly used in spam emails may trigger the spam filter and cause the email to be placed in the spam folder
